Whenever President Obama has a speaking engagement it’s going to be a big ticket item. Last week President Obama went to Columbus, Ohio to speak at The Ohio State University commencement.

We all know that he is a seasoned speaker and this speech has the same expertise you would expect from the leader of the free world. He included humor, politics, a history lesson, encouragement of the students in the audience to be involved in what’s going on in the world and various achievements of those graduates.

Keywords from his speech included: Citizenship, Participation and Perseverance. He even mentioned the Peace Corps (see my blog post about the Peace Corps here).

The speech is a little over 25 minutes and is worth the watch and listen.

What did you think of the president’s speech?

—-UPDATE 5/21/13—–

In addition to speaking at The Ohio State University, President Obama spoke at Morehouse College in Atlanta. See that speech below.
